HFT 2001 Careers in Hospitality Department

This course presents an orientation to the Hospitality Industry, its history, magnitude, challenges and career opportunities.  It also examines the hotel, club, and foodservice operations in greater detail, focusing on the administration of leadership management, human resource management, and marketing in event planning.  Exploration of concepts and opportunities of franchising and management contracts, and the examination of ethical issues involved in hospitality management are reviewed in this course.
