BCN 2599 Green Building and Energy Efficiency (O)

This course examines fundamental concepts and guidelines related to green building construction. This class prepares students for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate certification and other industry credentials. Acquisition, installation, and management of green building materials, resources, and systems are analyzed. Strategies to achieve LEED credits are highlighted in the description of building project systems and the impact of energy resources.
