STS V155C Surgical Techniques and Procedures (O)

This course teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to function as a surgical technologist in the operating room, including principles of aseptic techniques, correct posture for scrubbing, gowning and gloving, draping, handling of specimens, care and counting of sponges, sharps and instruments. Acceptance into the Surgical Technology program required. Lab fee $50.
