REA 0007 Prep Reading I

This course teaches reading and vocabulary skills through diagnostic/prescriptive techniques. The curriculum emphasizes acquiring and analyzing new vocabulary and applying literal and some critical comprehension skills. Various reading and vocabulary study skills are also presented. College preparatory. Credit not applied toward degree. In addition to classroom time, this course requires two (2) hours per week in the Academic Support Center.
