This course teaches an introduction to the pharmacy technician profession including the job description of a pharmacy technician, licensure requirements and work environments. Topics covered are legal and ethical issues, job skills and duties, verbal and written communication skills, professional resources, safety techniques, supply and inventory techniques and use of related software.
