HIM 1273C Billing and Reimbursement Methods (O)

This course teaches reimbursement issues for health care facilities. Diagnosis related groups (DRG�s), ambulatory related groups (APG�s), resources-based relative value scale (RBRVS), health maintenance organizations (HMO�s), and other major insurance/third party payors are studied. The various types of reimbursement methodologies are studied and practiced. Lab fee $20.
