DIG 4715 Advanced Game Production (U)

This course teaches advanced principles and theories of video game production, including project planning, scripting, 3D modeling and texturing, level design, and audio. This course immerses students in the initial stages of an eight-week game development project with heavy emphasis on teamwork as well as project planning and documentation. Students are introduced to Agile Production Methodologies and Best Practices of Game Production. Student assignments include creation and maintenance of technical design documentation, implementation of game technology, and project planning details designed to provide a strong foundation for delivering milestones in subsequent courses.
