DEH 1802L Clinical Dental Hygiene II Lab (O)

This course is a continuation of clinical dental hygiene skills. A continued development and competency of clinical skills enables the student to provide increasingly comprehensive services to patients including assessment, recare, motivation, and patient education. Care for the special needs patient is also included. Students are introduced to adjunctive techniques utilizing ultrasonic scaling devices and air polishers. Lab fee $20.
