MUT 2116 Theory of Music III

In this course, students continue to explore even more complex elements of musical form and analysis (melody, harmony, rhythm, and structure) and develop advanced skills in the science of music theory.  The musical concepts presented in this course are primarily based in the Western tradition and students analyze musical literature of advanced difficulty. Students also prepare for continued study of music theory.
