EMS 1119 Emergency Medical Technician

This course provides instruction in basic life support emphasizing the theory and skills required to recognize, assess, plan, and provide basic management of acutely ill and injured patients. Students participate in a combination of classroom discussions and scenario-based application. 

Requires acceptance to the EMT program. Student must maintain EMT program eligibility throughout the course
