Indian River State College awards a Certificate in Patient Care Assistant to each student who satisfactorily completes the required course of study. The purpose of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and clinical experiences related to the profession of Patient Care Assistant, consistent with the State of Florida Board of Nursing Licensing body and the Florida Department of Education.
