Any person planning to enroll in Indian River State College Associate Degree, Certificate and/or Vocational programs must complete an IRSC Application for Admission and Statement of Residency. Applicants may complete this form online at www.irsc.edu.

Under the open-door admissions policy in effect at IRSC, students with one of the following educational credentials will be admitted to Associate Degree programs:

    • a valid high school diploma which meets the validation standards identified in Administrative Procedure-7.11
    • a high school equivalency diploma (GED®) as prescribed in Section 1003.435, Florida Statute
    • a high school Certificate of Completion as prescribed in Section 1003.433(2)(b), Florida Statute

Certain specialized programs, such as Health Sciences and Cosmetology, have additional requirements for admission and may have specific application deadlines. If you are interested in a Selective Admission program, please contact an advisor, the department, or check the IRSC website at www.irsc.edu.

Once a student’s application has been processed, a series of three notification emails of any missing documents will be sent to the student's River Mail account. Students who have been admitted will be assigned an advisor, who will assist them in establishing and completing a Student Success Plan.

Students whose continued attendance is interrupted by four or more major terms (two calendar years) must renew their Application for Admission and Statement of Residency and are subject to the Admission Guidelines that are in effect at the time of re-entry. Students may complete this form online at www.irsc.edu.
