CGS 1060 College Computing (P)

This course concentrates on how to use a computer for academic purposes. Topics covered include an operating system (Microsoft Windows), a word processor (Microsoft Word), an electronic spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), presentation software (Microsoft PowerPoint), and search techniques using a database application (Microsoft Access). Computer concepts and use of the Internet are also covered. Lab fee $20.
