NUR 4636C Community Health Nursing

In this course students assimilate knowledge regarding community and public health nursing in relation to disaster preparedness, epidemiology, culture and environment. The focus of this course is on nursing care designed to prevent and/or reduce risk of disease and injury and promotion of health and wellness in the community setting across the lifespan. Experiential learning opportunities are provided focused on community health nursing.
