ETP 1420 Solar Thermal Systems

Students explore the background, essential theory, principles, and future of solar thermal systems. Students learn about solar fundamentals, solar water heating systems and components, systems installation, check-out and commissioning procedures, troubleshooting and repair, solar pool heating systems, and code and safety issues. Students practice copper pipe installation and are engaged in designing and installing a small solar thermal system.
