EEC 1734 Health, Safety, and Nutrition for the Young Child

In this course students explore key principles, concepts, and practices related to the well-being of young children in terms of their health, safety, and nutritional needs. Emphasis is placed on the importance of good nutrition, the role of physical activity, strategies for preventing and managing illness and injury, and the importance of establishing safe and healthy environments for children birth through age eight.
