EUH 2002 Western Civilization: 1815 to the Present

This course examines how Western Nation-States developed into powerful global empires, dominating the political, economic, cultural, and social sectors of Nineteenth and Twentieth Century affairs. The course discusses the political, economic, military, religious, intellectual, cultural, and diplomatic aspects of modern Western Civilization. It also focuses on influential people and events, while considering the relevance of the past to the present.
