MEA V242 Introduction to Pharmacology (N)

This course teaches general pharmacological concepts and principles in the management of patient care. Effective administration of therapeutic drugs, indications and contraindications are discussed, including the effects of medications on body systems. Drug classifications and their principal actions are reviewed. Dosage calculation is emphasized. Lab fee $25.
