FAS 2151 Principles of Molluscan Aquaculture (N)

This course teaches methods of culturing molluscan species with an emphasis on hard clams. Topics include comparative biology, land and field based system design and operation, feeding and growth parameters, sieving, sorting and record keeping, production strategies, predation, marketing, economics, leasing and regulations. Special fees range from $25 to $50.
