ETP 2942 Professional Internship for Radiation Protection

This course is an internship for the Radiation Protection specialization of the Associate in Science degree in Electrical Power Technology. In order to take this course, students are required to meet all the criteria for admittance into a nuclear power plant. During this internship students are assigned to a nuclear power plant located in the lower 48 states and work under the supervision of experienced radiation protection professionals. Students become familiar with nuclear power plant systems, components, and terminology. Permission of instructor required.
