EMS 2601C Paramedic I

This course provides introductory-level instruction in advanced life support as it emphasizes the theory behind and skills required to recognize, assess, plan, and manage acutely ill or injured patients. Students participate in a combination of classroom lecture and skills lab practice and application. Requires admission to the Paramedic program. Students must possess Florida EMT lincensure and healthcare provider CPR certification valid for the length of the program. Lab fee $250. Insurance fee $28.
