EMS 1431 EMT Lab/Clinical/Field Experience

This course emphasizes the development of required psychomotor skills and application of the classroom theory from EMS-1119C in a skills lab. Students also participate as part of the emergency medical services (EMS) team in the hospital and prehospital settings during clinical rotations in an emergency department and onboard adanced life support (ALS) ambulances. Requires admission o the EMT program. Student must possess healthcare provider CPR certification valid for the length of the program. Liability insurance required. Insurance fee $28. Permission to Register letter from instructor required.
