CGS 1053 Electronic Access to Educational Resources

This course teaches skills and provides hands-on application in accessing educational information resources, including books, journals, newspapers, and other research material using online catalogs, databases, and the Internet. Educational testing sources, statistical sources, and specialized databases will be highlighted. Analysis of Internet sites, effective search strategies, information literacy, critical thinking skills, and citing electronic resources are also addressed. Special fee $15.
