This course covers advanced electric welding techniques which includes shielded metal arc welding (SMA) in the vertical position. Theory, setup, and practice in metal inert gas (MIG) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding of ferrous and nonferrous metals are also covered. Lab fee $50. Insurance fee $8.75.
